JACKSONVILLE, Fla., Apr. 19, 2023 – Travelcamp is expanding to meet the demand of America’s rapidly growing southeast region. Travelcamp’s site selection of Clermont, Florida, the 2nd fastest growing city in the state, Memphis, Tennessee, and Statesville, North Carolina, are in response to each city’s projections for increased economic development and growing employment base as population increases in these southeastern states. “We selected these cities because we see an opportunity to expand into markets well-positioned for economic growth,” said John O. Blanton, Travelcamp COO. “These markets also have a high interest in the recreational lifestyle and have a skilled employee base that aligns well with the auto industry.”
As Travelcamp grows, the three new locations, Clermont, Memphis, and Statesville will provide the company an additional 56,000 square feet of sales and showroom space. The recently opened dealerships will provide 14 additional full-service bays and employ both technical and professional workers. Blanton adds, “Our goal is not only to make a long-term economic contribution to these communities but also to provide customers with top-notch product selection and an unsurpassed buying experience.”
